| My time period was during the scientific revolution from the 1500's to the 1800's. As myself there were other famous people who were famous for other thingslike Galileo, who was a famous scientist, Anders Celcius who was a Swedish astronomer and Gabriel Fahrenheitwho was a Dutch physicist. Many mathematical problems were created by me. Such as dealing with algebra and treatments of negative roots. | Helo evrybody my name is Rene Descartes. I lived from1596-1650. I am a French philosophe, mathematicion, and a scientist. I wnt to scohool at Jesuit College at Lafleche and the Univesity of Poiter. I then joined the army of Prince Maurice if Nassau.I quit the army in 1628 and went to Holland. There I spent most of my time inscientific research and pholosophic reflection. Afew years later, I believe in1649, Queenchristina invited me to Sweden. I have a well known philosophy that goes " I think therefore I am" . That is from my certainly pased existancefor god in which I offered proof and another based on St. Anslem on to logicalproof and another based onthe first cause that must have produced the idea of god in the thinker(me). | | |
